What is the Turing Test?
The Turing Test, proposed by British mathematician and computer scientist Alan Turing in 1950, is a method of determining whether a machine can exhibit intelligent behavior indistinguishable from that of a human. The test involves a human evaluator interacting with both a machine and a human, and if the evaluator cannot reliably distinguish which is which, the machine is said to have passed the test.
